RESEARCH GROUP

Junior and senior scientists are involved in the research activities of IRET. They carried out most of their activities as voluntaries.

IRET operates in close collaboration with research groups at the Universities of Bologna and Ferrara, and is part of a comprehensive national (Institute of Health, Fatebenefratelli Hospital, Rome, Milan University) and international (Karolinska Institutet Stockholm, Sweden; EPFL, Switzerland; Shanghai Institute for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Science, China) network of collaborations which are constantly updated in function of the specific research topics.

The IRET working group has produced in recent years over 250 papers in international journals and has presented their research in more than 400 national and international scientific meetings.
